Dolores A. Earles

Dolores A. Earles, age 91, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was a first grade teacher at Nye Elementary School for over 20 years, and was one of the pioneers of bilingual education in Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Clarence E. Earles. She is survived by her children, Lydia Fisher, Cynthia Prugh, and Clarence “Buddy” Earles and wife Socorro; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Rudy Alvarado; sister, Berta Alvarado; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Dennis Clemons, Benjamin Prugh, Patrick Earles, James Hargrove, Robert Hargrove, and Richard Hargrove.
