Don Procarione Richens

Don P. Richens MISSOURI CITY,TX/PRICE, UT - Don Procarione Richens, age 78, passed away on June 10, 2014, while visiting family in Utah. He was born February 14, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Reed Duke and Aurora Procarione Richens. Don was a former resident of Carbon County who attended local schools in the area and graduated from Carbon High School. He married the love of his life Marion High in Pasadena, Texas and they spent the majority of their years residing in Texas. Don honorably served his country in the US Air Force for 37 years, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant. He shared a great love for his country and family. Don will be dearly missed by his family and many longtime friends. Survived by his wife, Marion Richens, Missouri City, TX; children, Mark Richens, Price, Wendy (Jeff) Jones, Karen Steinbrecher, both of Missouri City, TX; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; siblings, Alfred (Clyta) Richens, Raymond (Patsy) Richens, both of Price, Donna (Kenneth) Bell, Lehi, Janice Miller, American Fork, James (Dixie) Richens, Taylorsville; many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, and sons, Bruce and Gregory. Funeral service, Friday, June 13, 2014, 7:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price, Utah. Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Friday one hour prior to services. Funeral services in Texas will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at the mortuary Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas with full military honors.
