Donald Ray Cockrell peacefully passed away early last Thursday morning , December 12, 2013. There will be a graveside funeral service at 12:30 on Tuesday, December 17 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery; 13102 North Freeway (I-45N), Houston, Texas 77060. Officiate - Rev. Richard Gordon. Preceded in death by - His grandparents - Capt. William Wark Cockrell - Laura Amalia Schwoner and Heinrich Mittelstedt - Christine (Kaiser) Mittelstedt; His parents - Orlando Kone Cockrell - Erma Adeline (Mittelstedt) Cockrell. Survived by -His brothers - James (Pat) Henry Cockrell & wife Angelita (Sanares) Cockrell, and William Bert Cockrell; His nephews -Paul Robert Cockrell & Wife Pamela (Donaldson) Cockrell and Rainier Sanares Cockrell; His Grandnephews -Jason Paul & wife DaLaine, and James Orlando; His Grandniece - Kimberly Ann; His Great Grandniece - Carlie Alexis; and his companion - Sharon Goforth.
