Donald Andrew Wunsche

Donald Andrew Wunsche, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of Spring, Texas and served our country honorably in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Andrew and Leona Roth Wunsche; sister, Johnell Thompson; and daughter, Yvonne Lee. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy Nolan Wunsche; sons, John Andrew Wunsche, Carl Wesley Wunsche and wife Yvonne, Paul Edward Wunsche and wife Becky; and step-sons James Clark, Kevin Clark and wife Traci; nine grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. He was a graduate of Spring High School, class of 52 and a Texas A & M Graduate, class of 56.

He was a long time member of Immanuel United Church, in Spring. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion and many other community organizations. He retired from a long career as a System Analyst with Tenneco Oil and AIG. He was a 60 year devoted member of Spring Lodge No. 1174 AF & AM and various other Masonic Lodges and Masonic appendant bodies. One of his fondest achievements was receiving the Golden Trowel Award from Reagan Lodge No. 1037 AF & AM.

Visitation will be held 10:30a.m. to 12:30p.m., Monday January 19, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will then be at 12:30p.m., in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
