Donneara Michelle Junious Koch passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at home, on her knees. She always said, “Gods got me”, and surely that day He had her Safe in His Arms. Michelle was born August 27,1965 in Houston Texas, as the first daughter to Deacon Jimmie and Bobbie Junious. After making her debut into the world, she immediately became known as the Mosquito Bend Baby because during that time, the community understood the relevance of the village raising a child. After leaving Mosquito Bend, Michelle took residence in the suburbs of North Houston, and matriculated through school in the Klein Independent School District. She held multiple interests that included graphic arts, photography, cutting and styling hair, and pharmaceuticals. These many interests were displayed as she pursued post high school studies at The Art Institute of Houston, Acres Home Barber College, and The Professional Career Institute. Preceding death, Michelle was employed as a Special Education Program Coordinator at The Evolution Academy Charter School. She demonstrated her love for life by expressing her personal worldview which reads, “if I can help someone, then my living will not be in vain.” This is the exact philosophy that allowed Michelle to help and house many people. Her hobbies included sewing, working crossword puzzles, reading, researching her ancestry; and most importantly, demonstrating God’s love to everyone she met. As an active member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Michelle’s youth ministries included singing in The Sunshine Choir, and participating in both the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Throughout the years, Michelle maintained active volunteer hours with organizations like Al Edward’s Operation Just’us, St Jude, The March of Dimes, Sister’s Network, and LBJ Hospital. Most recently, Michelle saw His Star in the East and relished in worshipping Him. Michelle and David Maurice Koch shared 19 years of marital happiness together; three sons Kalon Antoine (Arkenya), Jimmy Kyle, and Bobby Dwayne Junious; Mother-in-law, Lorraine Koch, and one grandson, Kalon Antoine Junious, Jr. Michelle cherished being the oldest sister to DeMonica Latrice and Detra Jacelle Junious (Terrence), whom she protected and influenced on a daily basis. Three nieces, Zoi Zielle Hughes, Zayda Giselle and Zaria Danielle Baynes. An abundance of Godparents, Godchildren, and friends.
