Donnell David Price

Donnell David Price was born in Granger, Texas to Doris and Curley Price on January 16, 1939. He was the second oldest of four children.Donnell grew up in Temple Texas, where he married Edna Ruth Sanders. they later moved to Houston, Texas. To this union, three children were born, Donnell Jr., Ronald R., and Quintess Shenise.Donnell made his living working in the hotel industry; the Warwick and the Hyatt Regency; to name a few, until he retired.Donnell later married Nannie Marshall, whom preceded him in death in 2006.Donnell excepted Christ at an early age. He was currently attending Camp Ruby Outreach Ministries, pastored by Bishop Harry D. Lewis, until his health failed.Donnell had a tremendous sense of humor and a giving spirit, always joking and making everyone he met laugh. He always tried to make you comfortable and feel at home and would do what he could to help people.On July 21, 2017, Donnell went home to be with the Lord.He is preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Curley Price, his son Donnell Price, Jr., his wife Nannie Price, and his sister Ruthy Price Taylor.He leaves to cherish his memories; his children, Quintess S. Jackson (August Jr., son in law), Ronald R. Price (Lois, daughter in law); Bridget Carter; daughter in law Brenda Price; step children Idella and Vincent Marshall; sisters, Doris Hodge of San Antonio and Cloretha Perry of Houston; his 7 grandchildren: Donnell II, Marcus, Ruth, Ryan, Charles, Traci, and Christopher; His 7 great grandchildren: Donnell IV, Grace, Leila, Maya, Jazmyne, Jaylen, and Jourdan; special nieces and nephews; special friend Lillie Stoot and a host of other family and friends.
