The Thanksgiving Table
Oh, the joy of gathering together,
'Round the Thanksgiving table again.
Each year to remember how grateful we are,
How blessed our lives have been.
Year after Year, thanks are renewed,
To love and be loved by them.
Dad so loved that day,
Mom knew it was time,
To be at the table with him.
So now they're together,
As meant to be,
Sharing love and laughter again.
Memories will mend us,
Their love does abide,
In time we will join them and then,
Hands held together, love in our hearts,
Round the Thanksgiving table in Heaven.
To Mari with love Betty Lewis

I am very sorry to hear about your loss of a loved one. Isaiah 25:8 will give you much comfort. It says “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” Jehovah will eliminate all our suffering and anxiety, even concerns that seem insignificant to others. Keep praying for God’s Kingdom.
