Taleia and Marcus, I am so very sorry to know 
that after all these years  that Ray & Dorothy
have passed on to be with the Lord.  Dorothy
kept our children Amber and Austin when 
they were babies.  My husband & I couldn’t 
have asked for a better babysitter.  She treated them as though they were her children. We went to work each day knowing that we could be at peace knowing that they were in the best hands.  The kids are now 40 and 34. Time flies for sure and my daughter & her husband have 2 children.  We lost touch as the kids started school and Dorothy & Ray moved.  We will never forget your parents and the love and kindness that they gave all of us.  We viewed the beautiful video of the family.  I know Ray & Dorothy had to be proud of you and your children.   We regret the time that we loss over the years and look forward to meeting them again one day. 
May they continue to rest in Paradise.

Talelia, Marcus I am saddened to hear of the passing of both your parents.  Please accept my sincere condolences.  I met your mom 28 years ago when my son was a baby.  She was such a loving and caring woman to the kids in her care and a good friend over the years to me once I left the Houston area.  She was the reason I started my home child care business.  Never in my wildest dreams when I first met her with my son that I would end up taking care of God's littlest angels.  She was my mentor !.  We kept in touch for a very long time until she got sick and we lost touch.  I know I will see her again!!  May God Bless You All in the days and years to come.

I am so grateful God blessed me over this past year to get to know Dorothy better. Our friendship grew in intensity as I had an opportunity to witness her amazing humor, courage, perseverance and faith.  She was extremely intelligent and  a phenomenal problem solver-wise in ways that few people knew.  She loved caring for others-it was her gift. She loved The Lord and trusted Him.   I will miss my dearest of friends, but know she is happiest with her Lord and her husband Ray. RIH-Resting in Heaven

We were deeply saddened by the news of MeMe passing. She was a beautiful person inside and out but, most of all she was the best caregiver anyone could have asked for. My heart felt condolences to you and you family.

I have known Dorothy since 1963, from the Lanier Hall at TSU until we met again in 1980, when my youngest son became one of her "babies".  That boy would literally fall out of my arms drolling and grinning when Dorothy opened the door. That meant I went to work each day knowing he was in good hands.  We lost contact over the years but I wll always remember year as  dynamic and  beautiful.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your loved one. My thoughts are with my friend and colleague--Taleia--and Charlotte, Ms. Dorothy's beautiful granddaughter, Margaux, and the rest of Ms. Dorothy's family. The pictures show a beautiful and classy woman who clearly had a love for beauty, life and her family. Her smile clearly could brighten a room and definitely made me smile in return. Thank you for sharing them!
