It's been a year my precious friend since you left us to go over that Rainbow Bridge.  I still remember the fun we had in high school in the band and in Rainbow Girls. I can just imagine you taking charge of some young musicians and setting them straight with just a look or glance in their direction.  Until we meet again.

So shocked to learn of Dottie's passing! Many fun-filled times spent with Dottie during our high school and Rainbow Girls days. Whenever I have thought of Dottie it was always with her effervescent personality and bright smile. Deepest condolences to her loving family.

I remember many kind acts that you afforded me and many others at HCCS. May blessings forever follow you and those loved ones who are with you in the here and hereafter.

My dear Dottie--I feel that without you, I would never have made it through high school.  You were always there, like a rock for me.  I shall never forget you.  I could not come to your memorial service because Bill and I have just gotten back to "civilization" after our wedding which was Sunday.  I shall keep your precious family in my prayers.

I cannot believe that I am writing this.  I am the one who has been in the hospital every month for at least three days for the last ten years.  My medical records are carried in crates.  Dottie, you weren't supposed to be on the other side before me--but now we have to trudge through the rest of own time on this earth without you being here.  I know that we lost track of each other but Faye and I still cared about you and your family so much that this hurts.  Faye was planning on inviting you to our cabin in the woods outside Ruidoso, NM but that won't happen either.  Your family are in our prayers because we know that their hearts are heavy with grief.  In times like this we fall back on the strong arm of faith, hope and charity through our service on this earth.

I remember Dottie from Baptist Temple. We had such good times there. My prayers are with her family. May our Heavenly Father surround them with His love and comfort.

I cannot believe that I am writing this my dear Dottie.  I have had you and your precious mother in my thoughts and prayers ever since the reunion last October.  I frequently tell my husband stories of us--Dottie, the twins and little Robert.  It doesn't seem that long ago.  You beat us to play in the heavenly band my love.  I shall look forward to the time when we are all in tune again.

I am so sadden to hear of your passing, Dottie. The last time I saw you I didn't recognize you when you approached me. You looked amazing! We shared so much while we were at HCC--COPA, TESA and NAEOP. Your life mirrored the incredible person you were. You will be missed! Your family are in my prayers.

Dottie Houston and HCCS will forever be greatful for all your contributions.  Dottie was very charitable and helped out with different causes.  Dottie was a former COPA President, and Treasurer.  I will forever cherish our time together at HCCS, COPA, TESA, and NAEOP.  Rest in Peace Dottie.

I remember Dottie and her brother Robert from band at Reagan. She always seemed to have a smile. Was shocked to hear of her passing at such a young age. My condolences to the family.

Dottie and I went to Reagan High School together.  She was always so kind to everyone.  I was shocked to hear of her passing.  The last time I saw her was at the Reagan Gathering in 2012.  She looked great and seemed so happy.  It was wonderful seeing her and talking to her that night.  

This is a reminder of how quickly our friends and family and others we love can be taken from us forever.  Take the time to tell them you love them today.

Dottie and I went to school together. I saw her a couple of years ago and thought she looked fantastic. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am deeply deeply saddened by Dottie's passing.  I met Dottie when I joined the Boy Scouts Explorer Post, of which she was part.  We all shared many happy memories from being in the Explorer Post.  After that, Dottie and I would see performances by Theatre Under the Stars at the old Houston Music Hall.  Dottie and I also went on several camping trips.  We also spent a lot of time at her parents lake house.  Dottie was a very happy and fun loving person.  We hadn't had any contact in a long time as life and career took most of our time.  I want to say it was a joy and a privilege to have known and spent so much time with Dottie!  Even after all these years, I have thought of Dottie often and will never forget all the great times we had together.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her Mom, and the rest of her family, as well, and to her many many friends.  We have lost a beautiful lady with a heart of gold.

It seems like I have known Dottie most of my life. We shared Girl Scout experiences. We joined the same Boy Scout Explorer Post. Then when I married, it turned out that she and my husband knew each other from Reagan. She was always so sweet and caring. I was always amazed at her ability to set a goal and achieve it. Although we didn't see each other often over the years, I always considered her one of my very good friends that I could count on if I needed her for anything.
My prayers go out to her family and close friends. She will be missed by many.
