

Douglas Earl Reo, born February 18, 1934 to Earl and Ruby Reo in Houston, Texas, passed away March 11, 2012 in Houston. Doug is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Hobbs Reo; daughters, Rhonda Henry and Robin Sellers and husband, Brett; grandchildren, Brittany Robbins and husband, Richard Clay, Colby Sellers, and Heather Henry; great-grandchildren, Avery and Clay Robbins; sisters, Margie Tankersley and Betty Jo Rochelle and husband, Woody, and by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Doug graduated from Navasota High School in 1952; received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Houston and a Certificate of Teaching from Texas A&M University; served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War; began his career as a Mechanical Engineer at Har Con Corp. in 1966 and retired in 2007 as President. Doug lived a wonderful, long life and was cherished by many. He will live forever in our hearts.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
