Dr. C.J. Kaio

Dr. C.J. Kaio, age 32, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the Director of Disability Services at the University of Houston who loved to shop. Preceded in death by grandparents, Martha Kaio and Thomas Chambers; grandfather, Marvin Walker; and aunt, Piper Chambers. He is survived by his partner, Terry Rolls; daughter, Caelyn Jamari Kaio; mother, Dolores Kaio; father, Fred Miller, Jr. and wife Tina; grandfather, Fred Miller, Sr. and wife Bitsy; sisters, LeAndra Kaio-Gooding and husband Keena, and Brittiney Brown; brothers, Thomas Kaio and wife Tavasha, Curtis Chambers and wife Natalie, LaKeith Lang and wife Lola, LaTroy Lang, and Erik Lang; mother-in-law, Shirley Figgs; sister-in-law, Teryl Rolls; aunts, Kathy Lang, Robin Street and husband Arthur, and Marva McCloud and husband Ricky; niece, Kelsey Willis; nephews, Kaden Willis, Kyle “Pito” Willis, and JaMarkus Bogany; God Child, Kaleb Willis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Burial will be held at a later date in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
