

Ebony Jazzia Banks, 18 entered into eternal rest early Sunday morning, March 26, 2017 at 1:00am at M.D. Anderson Hospital. Ebony was a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas. Who, in her early years, was active as a Girl Scout, keeping her uncle Anthony very busy selling Girl Scout cookies. In her 10th grade year at Alief Hastings High School, she became very active in the band’s color guard. She worked hard practicing and performing and loved every minute of it. Ebony will always be remembered for her beautiful infectious smile, love for her family and friends, and of course her love of Beyonce’. She had a huge heart and was willing to lend a helping hand to everyone she met. Ebony was a loving Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, Cousin, and Friend to many. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents James and Ruth DeBlanc. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her parents Gregory Banks Sr and Janice Banks of Houston, Texas; one sister, Tara Benford of Houston, TX; two brothers, Gregory Banks, Jr., Christopher P. Banks of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Paternal Grandmother, Dorothy Sellars of Shreveport, Louisiana; Uncle, Anthony Sellars of Houston, Texas; Eight Aunts, Delores Turner of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Barbara Johnson of Austin, Texas;, Toni Eaglin of Fulshear, Texas, Evelyn (Donald) Broussard of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Sylvia (Leroy) Cole of Lake Charles/Kinder, Louisiana, Linda Banks of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Carla Reed Johnson of San Diego, California; two great aunts Vira Peet of St. Martinville, LA, and Marva Richardson of Houston, TX. Extended family, Connie Williams & Family, Malcolm Matthews and Family, Lionel Feazell and Family, The Milligan Family, Gerald Eaglin, Doris Curtis, Darnel & Vickie Broussard, Aunjelle Roque and family, numerous cousins (Texas, Louisiana, California) and her beloved dog Lexi. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!!!
