

Edith was born on September 19, 1922, graduated from Humble High School in 1940. She was valedictorian of her senior class. She attended Mary Hardin Baylor College. After college, she worked for Boroughs Adding Machine Company in Houston, Texas until she married Cecil E. Clark on May 26, 1947. She was a devoted mother and worked at home taking care of the family business until Cecil's death in 1975. She is survived by her son Michael Alan Clark and daughter- in-law Teresa; son Mark Edward Clark and daughter-in-law Adriene; and granddaughter Kimberly Melissa Mathis.
Being raised by Homer Hill Moore and Martha Rebecca Moore, both strong Christian parents she spent her life dedicated to her Christian values. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Spring Branch in Houston, Texas. She enjoyed traveling to many different destinations with friends.

Family and friends gathed at a visitation on Wednesday, January 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services were held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014. Graveside services followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
