

Edith R. Manzullo passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on JULY 22, 2026 at 90 years of age. Edith was born in New York City and spent her childhood years there and graduated from Our Lady of Wisdom Academy. She married John E. Manzullo Jr in 1959 and in 1966 they moved to Fort Worth, Texas with their daughter Ellen as her husband continued his engineering career. She was initially a stay at home mother and when her daughter began school she began her career in commercial construction where she worked for many years and eventually retired as a contract administrator in 1999.
During retirement she enjoyed traveling in the United States and Europe and went on many cruises with her husband and daughter. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and boating.
After her husband of 54 years passed away in 2013 she moved to Houston, Texas to be closer to her daughter. She subsequently began a new chapter of her life and she with her daughter continued traveling, attending the symphony, as well as many other special times together. She also enjoyed exercising, doing volunteer work, and being a member of a book club.
Edith is preceded in death by her parents Denis and Rosa Ryan and her husband of 54 years John E. Manzullo Jr. She is survived by her daughter Dr Ellen F. Manzullo. She is also survived by her sister Hertha Anderson (Bert) and her brother Denis Ryan (Carol). In addition, her niece Dr Amy Anderson (Patrick) and their children Anna and Jacob; nephew Dr John Anderson (Alexa) and their children Emma, Samantha, and Kasey; other nieces, cousins in Austria, and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on July 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Earthman Resthaven, on July 29, 2026, beginning at 10:30 am. A Committal Service will follow at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025, on July 29, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
