I am very sorry for your loss! Jay was so special, always smiling, laughing and happy! 

This one’s just extra because I love this picture , your personality shines I loved the silly pictures you allowed me to take with you ! I’ll always remember all the get togethers , camping on the beach with you sitting around joking around , giving mom a hard time , and how fun you were to be around ! Thanks for being apart of my life and accepting me as a daughter && giving me guidance , you telling me how proud you were of me I promise meant so much to me on Christmas . There’s so many memories I could just keep posting! I love you!! 

Paw paw Jay this one’s from the kids … Claytons favorite memories are  the hair cuts , the your killing me smalls (y’all said back and forth ) , the golf cart rides , the football games , the early morning breakfast dates to hungry Jack , the time you tied him to a tree as a joke ,all the trips you took him on  y’all watching cops together, you were his best buddy he said ! Chloee said the sitter of her baby dolls , the way you called her stinky Felicia even though your the stinky Felicia , sitting in recliner with you , she said she misses everything about you. She even made you a puppy angel just for you in heaven because she knows you need one . Brody said the way you made him laugh, your personality , the way you always helped him. The kids are so grateful to have had you as there paw paw Jay. 

My favorite memory theres just to many .. At my wedding you introduced me to crown and cranberry and I’ll never forget it ! It’s your famous drink ! My memories of you taking Clayton in as a  grandson letting me move in without a question while pregnant , getting a bigger apartment just so me and Clayton had somewhere to stay and feel at home ! The way you love my children , the way you loved family get togethers , all the wisdom you taught me . I have moments where I’m sure you thought she wasn’t listening but  I use it every day ! But most of all was the day you told me how proud you were of me at Christmas this year ! Your the type of person you want someone to proud of you! You always gave me the motivation to feel strong even at my weakest moments & we both know that was more than a few ! Most of all the way you loved my mom and made her so darn happy!!! I just wish I could get one more hug !! I love you jay (paw paw jay) you’ll forever be in my heart ! And thank you for everything !!! 

For at least 8 years at Christmas, my boys and Jay would help each other putting up Christmas Lights on each house…..of course they played basketball,  put up a few strings of lights, played basketball, lights etc. took the three of them forever! ... but always an excellent job.  My older Grands loved the years of Jay being Santa on the fire truck.  And my youngest grand loved years at the ballpark…Jay you will definitely be missed!  

I was so very sorry to hear of Jay's passing. He coached my daughter in softball.  He was a great guy and always smiling and cutting up. He will be sorely missed.  Praying for his family



No doubt,   Jesus will welcome you at the Golden  Gates.    Rest  In

My cousin you already missed  Growing up together our families  just memories now. I know I didn’t hang out much in our older years but I will miss the phone calls we had every now and then. Glad  I brought mom by to see you a while back she really enjoyed that. So in parting I want to say to a GreatMan farewell say hi to Granpa (your uncle Buster) my dad  for me. Jay umpired my daughter's softball games for many years and he was always so nice to all of us. We waited to see him on the fire truck dressed as Santa at Christmas and he was definitely having fun. He will definitely be missed. Prayers for his family and friends...
