Edward Brady Thompson

Edward Brady Thompson, 68, of McKinney, TX died 6/22/2025. He was born September 24, 1956 to Henry Lee and Betty Louise Thompson in Waco, TX. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Brady moved to Houston, TX. at 8 years old and attended Spring Branch Sr. High school (Class of 75). In 1977, he was married to Julie Ann Sterns, and they have two children. Brady moved to the Dallas area in 1993 where he continued to his career in the IT industry serving Banks. He also spent time in London, England and Sydney, Australia where he also worked on banking projects for Electronic Data Systems. The last company Brady worked for was DXC Technology supporting the Ally Bank Auto Loans system.

Brady is survived by his brother Cregg and wife Christine Thompson of Huntsville, TX., his sister Virginia Lynn and husband John Koehnle of Willis, TX, his sister Dana Carol Edwards of Spring, TX., son Jason Lane Thompson of McKinney, TX., his daughter Crystal Lynn and husband Robert Gaddie of Allen, TX. Surviving Grandchildren: Robert E. Gaddie and Grayson L. Gaddie, both of Allen, TX. Additionally, Brady is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Julie Ann Sterns Thompson.

A viewing will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 11, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm. All will be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Cemetery.
