I was sorry to learn about Ed's passing.  He not only made great technical contributions to the NCU team, he was a joy to work with.  We were privileged to work with him, and we will miss his friendship and humor.

It was an honor and a pleasure to be one of Ed Richardson's nephews. His towering intellect was clothed with such friendly humility. Please accept my sincere sympathy for Uncle Ed's loss. He was, and always will remain, a treasured and unique person, who will be missed.

We are all so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ed was a wonderful man and was so nice to me. My husband, Randy Richardson and his brother, Ray, have many fine memories of trips with Uncle Ed, who looked like his brother, Jim's twin. I am happy to have met and talked with him.
