Edwin worked for Howco Metals for 14 years upon his death. He was devoted to his wife of 35 years, his kids and his sisters. He was the rock that held us together. He enjoyed hunting with his sons and his friends David, Jack and Roger. He had a passion for cooking and was the main cook in the Schubrick household which will be missed dearly. He was part of the LOA Cookoff Team (with David, Jack and brother-in-law James) for about 13 years where many trophy’s were won for their brisket, ribs, and beans. He loved watching the traditional country and polka shows on RFD TV and old western movies. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy football fan and Houston Astros baseball fan. But mostly he enjoyed working on our place and those quiet moments with his family drinking a beer, talking and watching the deer on the place.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce and their three children Teresa, Justin and Brandon and our dog Diesel; his sisters Nora Galik (husband Gerald) and Patricia Grochett (husband Harold) and many aunts and uncles, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
