Eileen Gilliam, 83, of Houston, Texas peacefully passed into eternity on October 16, 2015. Eileen enjoyed spending her time tending to her prized plants and flowers and collecting owls of all shapes and varieties. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing with her husband Loyd and he enjoyed watching her as she line danced. Eileen is preceded in death by her parents Brooks Hall and Maude Farquhar. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 44 years, Loyd Gilliam and her children Teresa Bolden, James Smith and Brenda Burchfield. Also left behind are her grandchildren Amanda Rose, Courtney and Katie Burchfield and Ty Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews and countless other family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5-9 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 2 PM with interment immediately following. All services will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
