Elida was the youngest child of Eusebio Zamora and Florentina Rosales. She was born on July 12, 1933. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a woman whose faith and love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In April 1959, Elida married the love of her life, Silvano Aguirre. Together, they shared 63 beautiful years of marriage and built a life rooted in love, faith, family, and perseverance. Side by side, they raised their seven children: Elsa, Silvano, Armando, Elida, Flor del Carmen, Jesús Alberto, and Isabel.
Mom was a strong and devoted woman who gave her family her whole heart. She was the foundation of our family—the person who taught us the meaning of love, sacrifice, faith, and the importance of always being there for one another. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful, family-oriented woman whose Catholic faith was deeply rooted in her heart. She believed in God, in the power of prayer, and in helping others whenever she could. Elida’s love extended far beyond her immediate family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, strength, and unconditional love that will continue through the generations.
The lessons she taught, the stories she shared, and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love does not end with her departure.
Mom, your hands may no longer hold ours, but your love will forever hold our hearts. Your voice may be quiet, but the lessons you taught us will speak through generations. We will carry you with us in our prayers, in our memories, and in the way we love one another.
I know you are happy now, in God’s arms, and Dad is by your side. Rest peacefully, Mom. You gave us a lifetime of love. Now may God welcome you home and reward you with eternal peace.
Until we meet again, we love you, Mom. :::
