As a Warren classmate of Jane's, I have fond memories of her, and yet I have more significant regret that I did not know her better.  I know it was my loss.  It took us nearly 45 years to become really appreciative of one another.  I will tremendously miss Jane--her wit, her intellect, and her antics.  I feel blessed to have drawn closer to her in the past few years, and I know I am richer for it.  I send my prayers, my love, and my heartfelt condolences to Jane's family and close friends.  Thank goodness, God is faithful to mend our broken hearts, and He promises that He will draw us closer to Him in this time of great sorrow.  Rest in peace and in heavenly glory, Sweet Jane.

Psalms 30:6 says weeping last through the night but joy comes in the morning.God will bring you great joy in the days ahead with all the fond memories you have of Jane.  Ever since I received the word that she had passed away, I have been thinking of all the memories I have of her.  Jane and I have been friends since first grade.  Sixty one years is a long time for a friendship. Even though life got in the way and we drifted a part we still have those memories of growing up.  I remember spending many hours at her house and she at mine.  We spent hours on the telephone  sharing out inner most thoughts and you could find us on the weekends along with Henrietta cruising the streets of Warren.As I said before life got in the way  and we drifted apart, it has only been in the last four years that we had reconnected.  I was able to visit with her about four years ago and it was like we had never been apart.  I have been blessed to call Jane friend.

Jane was not only a co-worker but a friend.  She always called us younger ones "Babe".  Jane was very dedicated in both her professional and personal life.  She was always willing to help, talk or laugh with you, and we did a lot of laughing.  She will be missed.  My deepest condolences.

Jane will be remembered for her wit and good humor. Her writings about her time in the Mideast still make me chuckle. Her emails were keenly funny and I can envision her struggles there through her words and observations. Over the last few years, she has held her own against our classmate,Uncle Bobby, and sliced him up pretty good at times with some gentle humor. Dear friend, you left us too early and we are missing you.
