Emilio Ramirez, age 77, was born in Wharton, Texas on August 8, 1944. Emilio went to be with our Lord on July 2, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Norma Ramirez, his sons Milo Ramirez and wife Angela Ramirez, Emilio Ramirez Jr. (EJ) and his wife Olga Ramirez; grandchildren Kylie Ramirez, David Ramirez, Allison Ramirez, Vivian Allen, and Madison Ramirez; sisters Mary Riojas, and Carmen Sanchez, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Emilio was one of 14 children, 12 deceased and 2 living.
During his life Emilio was a successful chef at the historical Shamrock Hotel in Houston, Texas. Later in life Emilio expanded his creative talents in, fabrication and refurbishing of caskets at Esser Manufacturing.
The viewing will be held on July 7, 2022 from 5 to 9 pm at Forest Park Lawndale followed by the funeral services on July 8, 2022 from 1 to 2 pm. Procession and burial will follow from 2 to 2:30 pm.
