Emma Nuncio Nino, 65, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Full of love, Nana, as she was known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, is the one who held her family together. Emma was born on April 14, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Miguel C. Nuncio and Gregoria Garcia. She is preceded in death by her mother Gregoria C. Nuncio. Emma is survived by husband Richard C. Nino, her beloved puppy Missy, daughter Annette Nino (Jaime Rivera), son Andres Nino, grandchildren Brittney M. Shults (Cody Shults), Celine L. Lira, Joseph C. Nino, great grandchildren Izaiah N. Ruiz, Dakota B. Shults, Ashelyn L. Jocoy, brothers and sisters Sylvia Hernandez, Yolanda Guevarra, Cynthia Bell, Rudolpho Nuncio, Robert Nuncio, Miguel Nuncio, Ruben Nuncio as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Nana loved arts and crafts, Sci- Fi movies, sewing and dancing. The visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 6pm – 9pm with a rosary beginning at 7pm. The funeral service will also be at Forest Park Lawndale on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11am with the interment to follow.
