Dear Cathy,

Words seem to be so inadequate at times like there. It’s hard to express my sorrow for your tremendous loss. I can only pray that God bring you peace and comfort you as only He can do.

I watched Erin’s slideshow in its entirety. It truly showed how loving and caring she was to you and all of her parents/second parents, but especially to her siblings! It was so obvious that she loved them dearly and they loved and adored her back.

She was beautiful in every way. I know she will be remembered that way by all who knew and loved her. Please take care of you and know that my thoughts and prayers.

There's an Erin-shaped gap in the world's energy and the only thing that comes close to filling it may be the indelible impression you've left, seemingly on everyone with whom you came in contact. Me, for one... ! We spent such a short time together in NYC, but even that gave me a chance to see your heart, your spirit, your love for your mom and your family and friends. As cousins, your mom and I have known each other all our lives... so it's clear to me "where you got it." Thank you for sharing. And come back and visit any time! xoxo

Cathy & Bob,
We can't even imagine how painful this loss is for you both. Know that you are in our prayers, during this most painful time. There's another bright sparkling star in our sky. Loss to soon for us here on earth, now up with our heavenly Father.
Hugs to you both,
Shan and Bob (on the road returning from Yellowstone)

Heaven has gained a brick wall for a goalie.

I never imagined a world with you not in it. Although we would go years without talking we could always pick back up like nothing had changed. Erin, you were my first love and only broken heart. We share a connection and a past that no one could ever touch. I am content in knowing your Nana is taking care of you now and that you are in a much better place. Words fail me and I can never express what is going through my head or my heart. I will never forget you and what we shared.

A light has truly gone out in our world. I was fortunate to be able to have known you since birth and watch you grow into a beautiful woman. I will always remember your infectious laugh and glorious smile. You enjoyed life to its fullest. You are much loved and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, sweet girl.
With all my love,

Erin, you’re gone from this world too soon. Though it’s it has been years since I last saw you, I’ll never forget our younger days together. When we were in middle school we were inseparable, almost like brother and sister. You always looked out for me and were one of the most caring people out there. When we reconnected in Facebook a few years ago we always said we would meet and catch up. Unfortunately it didn’t happen so it will just have to wait till we meet again.

Can’t remember the exact time we met but I believe it was at 5 or 6 years old. You always had a wonderful sense of humor about yourself (story about your skirt getting stuck in your pantyhose, in middle school ... yep we wore pantyhose back then) and would always tell me how it really was which I so appreciated. We played so much soccer together and I knew you had my back on and off the soccer field! I so loved seeing you again at the 20th HS reunion and picking up like no time had passed. I will miss you! Prayers to your family as I know they are hurting but hope that they can enjoy all the millions of wonderful times that you provided. God speed my friend!
