Remembering Erma Martin, on the morning of Saturday August 7th, 2021, Erma Jeanette Martin passed away in her sleep at the age of 88. Erma was born the youngest of 13 children in Houston, Texas on November 28th, 1932, to her parents Golda Martin and Joseph Martin.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Wright, her son John Wright, and her grandson, Noel Wright. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Ventress and Frances Wright, her son, Anthony Wright, 17 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren. She was deeply loved by all her family and will be missed dearly.
Her memorial will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, August 17th and the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with the graveside service at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 18th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
