He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Enedina Gonzalez, his brother, Andrew Gonzalez and sister, Anita Bates.
He is survived by his sisters and brother: Carolina Gonzales, Mary Flores, Gloria Flores, Elisa Gonzales, and Rudy Gonzales and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Ernest will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary service will be recited Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A graveside service will follow the recitation of the Rosary at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
