Ernestine Comeaux

Ernestine (Ernni) was born to Ernest and Louise Masters August 17, 1949, in Baytown, Texas. She graduated from Robert E Lee High School in 1967 and received a Bachelor Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin University in 1971. She married Darrell Comeaux in 1971, and they lived together in Houston, Texas . Together they raised two boys, Blake and Gabriel.

She is survived by her husband Darrell Comeaux, her son Blake Comeaux and his wife Stephanie and son Gabriel Comeaux and his wife Sarouth, her grandchildren, Rylee Comeaux, Austin Comeaux and Hartley Comeaux.

She was preceded in death by her father Ernest (Shorty) Masters, her mother Louise Masters and her sister Wanda Jean Norman.

Ernni taught kindergarten for 41 years. She enjoyed going to movies, boating, fishing, sailing, riding on motorcycles, riding her recumbent trike, riding in sidecars. There was nothing she

would not do with Darrell. They were a true love story. She supported many charities and was generous to everyone. She was an active member of The Church @ Jersey Village.

But most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.

The Service will be led by Dr. Averri LeMalle, Sr. Pastor of The Church @Jersey Village.

Visitation will be June 4, 6-8pm and Funeral Service will be June 5 at 11am at

Forest Park Lawndale
