Esperanza Lozano Reyes

Esperanza Lozano Reyes, 91, born in Monterrey, Mexico, went to her final resting place on April 18, 2012. She will always be remembered for her warm and compassionate spirit. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Grandmother. She spent many years working as a beloved elementary school teacher. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Fernando Reyes. She is survived by her son, Fernando Reyes (Oralia); daughters, Mary Martinez (C.G.) and Norma Brooks (Mark); grandchildren, Alicia, Jessica, Angela, Sarah, Austin, Evan, and Chelsea; great-grandchildren Alex, Julie, and Grace, and her devoted cousin Emma Lopez. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the chapel of Heights Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Houston National Cemetery at a later date. The family would especially like to thank her loyal caregiver of 8 years, Mary Bingley, as well as Marta Estupian (deceased), Berta Andino, Magdalena Gomez, Lourdes Zambrano, Ingrid Reynaud, and Maria and Jennifer Arizepe.
