

She loved gardening, dancing, playing cards, traveling and getting together with friends and family. She was always ready to help a friend She was a member of the Young at Heart Club at St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed socializing with friends at the club, but especially enjoyed buying gifts for the kids at Christmas. It was one of her favorite club activities.
She leaves behind her daughter, Sylvia Hall and husband, Don; her sister Vida Huddleston (Don) and brother Andrew Lucio (Rachel) and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Pete, son Jack and brother Daniel Diaz.
A special thank you goes out to her hospice care team (past and present) ---for their kind and respectful caring.
A visitation will be held at Heights Funeral Home, located at 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008, on January 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary Service will take place at the same venue on January 21, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for January 22, 2026, at 11:00 am, also at Heights Funeral Home. The committal service will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, located at 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm on January 22, 2026.
