Eva Virginia Canche

Eva, who loved to be simply called "Mom" by her kids, departed her loving family on September 6, 2021.

Eva was born in Houston, TX on April 14, 1953 to Joe and Mary Trevino.

Eva was mother to Eddie Canche Jr., Erick Sean Canche, and Evonne Renee Riddle. She raised her children with love and devotion in Houston and throughout their lives. She applied the same care, love, and devotion to all her family and friends and then some. That's what made her the greatest daughter, the compassionate sister, the devoted mother, and the cool loving grandmother. She was always the care and warmth that was needed to many people who knew her.

As a Registered Nurse, Eva was known for her effective working habits, fun loving personality, and a kind soul that tended to all her patients. Her hobbies included being around her friends and family as much as she could as well as cooking and baking. She valued the time she spent with everyone as if it was her last minute on earth. She was most proud of her cooking and loved to share the best cooked meals and pastries for all. Her best achievements were to make sure you were full of food, love, and laughter.

She is survived by her Son-Eddie Canche Jr., Son-Erick Sean Canche, Daughter-Evonne Renee Riddle, Granddaughter-Victoria Zhang, and Grandson-Tristin Canche.

Aside from the children, Eva is survived by Mother-Mary Trevino, her Brother-David Trevino and her Brother-Joe Trevino Jr., and her sister Eloise Trevino.
