On the blessed day of May 15, 1948, a baby girl was born to the proud parent Henry Adams and Gladys Oliver Thomas in Schulenburg, Texas. They lovingly named her Evelyn Adams. Evelyn accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She loved listening to her BB King and Johnny Taylor; and yes, on Sundays, she loved to watch Pastor Joel Osteen. Family time was very important to Evelyn. She couldn’t turn you away and would help you in any way possible. She would give you her last, but not her Busch. Evelyn Adams is preceded in death by her late husband, Worth Cassel; parents Henry Adams, Sr. and Gladys Oliver Thomas; Alfred Earl Edwards, Henry Adams II and Annie Joyce Allen. She leaves to cherish: siblings - Judy Thomas, and William Penn; children Janth Thomas (Jeffery), Tonya Adams and Dorian Cassel; grandchildren - Jeffery Thomas, Jr., Kayla Adams, Jahlissia Thomas, Christopher Adams and Jonathan Thomas; great granddaughter Mia Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
