Evelyn P. Williams

On Wednesday June 4, 1952 in Crockett, Texas Shirley Barnes and LC Lincoln Perry became the proud parents to a beautiful Baby girl whom they named Evelyn Perry. Evelyn attended schools in Trinity, Texas and accepted Christ at an early age. Later she moved to Houston, Texas and attended Houston College of Business.  She was a member of Word of Love Church. On Tuesday November 19, 1985 she met a gentleman named Urben D. Williams.  Almost a year later he asked for her hand in marriage and they jumped the broom on Saturday, October 25, 1986 and their lifelong legacy of love began. On Saturday June 1, 2019 at approximately 3:30pm Evelyn departed this earthly life at home. She was preceded in death by her parents Shirley Barnes, LC Lincoln Perry, and her stepfather Zellers Morning, Daughter JoAnn Hale, brother Tonie Barnes and sister Shirley Louise.She leaves to cherish her memory to her husband Urben D. Williams; children: Felicia Simmons and Rochester Simmons (Latrice); grandchildren: Cameron “CJ” Simmons, DeShaun “De” Williams, Ty Daughtry, Ji’Anna Hale, Quintarius, Jamienesha, Rockelle, Zavion, and Ka’Mia Simmons; Great grandchildren: Camri and Bailee Simmons; sisters: Linda Jenkins, Gladys (Johnny), and Evilene (Quentin); brothers: Joe Perry (Sun), Milton Perry (Ethel), Darrell, Ricky Barnes (Brenda), Jerry Barnes (Annie), and Oties Barnes (Cameshia); sisters-in-law: Margaret Lair and Jacquelyn Sowells; brother-in-law: Kenneth Williams and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
