Fannie Jones, also known as “Maw Maw” and “Fannie P”, a precious and beautiful soul, departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 63.Fannie P. Jones, of Wellborne, Texas, was the youngest of ten siblings, born December 10, 1952 to Herman Shelly and Rosetta Garner. She attended public school in Bryan, TX and later attended Houston Community College where she focused her studies in Graphic Arts. She was a passionate, loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Working for the Texas Youth Commission, she constantly displayed her love for helping, encouraging, counseling and guiding others. Sharing with everyone the importance of developing and having a relationship with Christ, she was a faithful Christian who truly loved God.She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brothers Vernelle Williams, Robert Williams, Andrew Williams and Alfred Alexander, and her sister Lola Williams.She leaves to cherish her memories: Daughters, Ronda F. Davis - Katy, TX and Aundrea McDonald Howard (Joe) - Katy, TX; Brothers Roosevelt Williams – Detroit, MI, James Ray Alexander (Kim) – Los Angeles, CA, Fred Alexander – Marlin, TX; Sister Estella Williams Robertson – Florence, SC; Grandchildren Khristopher C. Davis – Austin, TX, Sherman P. Lemelle II – Burlington, TX, Kiara M. McDonald – Katy, TX, Braedan J. Howard – Katy, TX; Great-Grandchild Oliver C. Davis – Austin, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.
