Felicidad Shadix

Felicidad was born January 23, 1935 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Amida Olivencia and Rodolfo Lara.

Caring friend, loving mother, grandmother, and new great-grandmother, Felicia never met a stranger. She always had a kind smile and loving heart for everyone she met throughout her life. Affectionately, Felicia would refer to everyone she met as either, “sweetheart” or “darling”.

She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by mother Amida Olivencia, father Rodolfo Lara and her first husband, Kidd McCoy Fitzwater as well as brothers Agustin Enrique (Tito) Lara Olivencia and Rodolfo Lara Olivencia

She is survived by her spouse, Earnest Ray Shadix; daughter Nellie Fitzwater Pittman and husband James Louis Pittman, granddaughter Victoria Alexis Pittman, granddaughter Jessica Elizabeth Pittman; son Michael Sean Fitzwater and wife Sylvia Fitzwater, granddaughter Vanessa Ann Fitzwater, grandson Eric Curtis Fitzwater, and great grandson Reed Sean Fitzwater; step-daughter Kelly Jean Butler and husband Robert Glenn Butler, grandsons Jakob Dillon Butler and Shane Garrett Butler; step-son Tony Ray Shadix.
