On February 4, 2014 our beloved F.E. Jones transitioned to his eternal home. On December 10, 1972, Fernanious Emanuel Jones was the younger of two children born to Fernanious Percy Jones and Gloria Nell Jones in Houston, Texas. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. As a member of Mt. Rose Baptist Church he served on the Junior Usher Board, Junior Deacon Board and was a member of the Children's and Mass Choir. In May of 1991, F.E. graduated from Waltrip Senior High School in Houston, Texas where he played football and was a cadet in the JROTC. After graduating from High School, F.E. continued his higher education by attending Sam Houston State University. While attending Sam Houston State University, he pledged in the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in Spring 1992 with the line name of "The Professor". He left Sam Houston State University to pursue a career in the Army as a reservist in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. He remained in the military for two years until he decided to leave the Army and return to Houston as a corporate recruiter. F.E.'s love of music allowed him to move into the entertainment industry. He became a co-owner with Lee Kellough III, best friend of thirty plus years, of a D.J. company named S.M.O.O.V.E (Spiritual Minds Overcoming Obstacles Victoriously Every day). He enjoyed rocking the crowd through his music mix. In 1999 he met the love of his life Angela Blackshire Jones. They united in marriage on October 5, 2002 at Greater First Baptist Church where he was a member. They have two beautiful girls Autumn and Cydney of whom he was very proud. In December 2008, F.E. Jones graduated from Sam Houston State University to demonstrate to his girls that it is never too late to complete your college education and always finish what you start. His mother Gloria Nell Jones preceded him in death. His memory is cherished by his wife Angela Jones and their two children Autumn and Cydney. Father: Fernanious Emanuel Jones; Brother: Gary Wayne (Nina) Henry; Niece: Brittany (Rick) Espinoza and his Nephew: Joshua (Jennifer) Henry. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. F.E.'s favorite scripture: No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
