Fidel de la Fuente Garza, age 85, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. Fidel was born in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on December 19, 1936 to Prospero Garza and Joaquina de la Fuente.
He was preceded by his parents, 4 sisters and a brother, and survived by his wife, Margarita, daughters Angelica (Richard), Sylvia (Abel), Sonia (Daniel), and son Fidel (Laura), granddaughters Elyssa, Angelica Danielle, and Catalina, and grandsons, Matthew and Christopher, sisters Carolina Flores and Rosalva Fuentes and many loving family members in Mexico, Texas, and Washington.
A visitation for Fidel will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
