Flora Ann Henske

She was born in Brenham, Texas on November 10, 1930 to Charles and Lillie Tesch and was raised on their dairy farm.

Flora was baptized on February 22, 1931 at Salem Lutheran Church and was confirmed there also.

She met Will Henske when he returned home from the Navy and they married on November 7, 1948. They spent 74 wonderful years together before his death.

They moved to Houston and later Spring where she worked as a Medical Secretary at Doctors Hospital and Heights Hospital. Later she worked for AMI Hospital Corporation as an Executive Secretary.

She loved to sew, travel, do paper crafts, decorate her home for holidays, and spend time with family.

She was active in church and Interfaith Caring Ministries.

She is survived by her children, David Henske and wife Jennie, Cynthia Yirga and husband Paul; grandchildren, Christi Morrison and husband Matt, Megan Perello and husband Vic; great-grandchildren, Asher and Hudson Morrison and Connor and Sean Perello.

A Funeral Service will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on October 12, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on October 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.

A Reception will take place at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on October 12, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
