Florence Mary Chisum, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her residence in Houston, TX surrounded by family, after a short illness.
Florence was born May 30, 1935 to Charles and Stella Madison in Cambridge, MA. She lived in Houston, TX most of her life and retired from Lift-All Company where she worked as a skilled Industrial Seamstress for over two decades. She loved tending to her flower gardens, shopping, and watching horror movies (at the highest sound volume) with her grand and great-grandchildren.
Florence is survived by her devoted daughter Regina Andrew and devoted sons Tommy Andrew, Clyde Andrew, Kenneth Andrew, grandchildren Tina Krause, Clyde Andrew, Jr., Lesley Modiri, Macon Carlton, Michael Carlton, John A. Carlton, and Shemicole Ferguson, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. Her sister Marie Belding of Winchester, MA and numerous extended family members survive Florence, referred to as “Honey” by her siblings. She is pre-deceased by her brothers Henry Madison, Charles (“Jr.”) Madison, John (“Pal”) Madison, Jackie Madison, and sisters Mary Madison, Stella Rodrigues, Lorraine McGrath, and Lillian Dube.
Memorial services will be at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, Houston, TX at a yet-to-be determined date.
