Florence was a 1937 graduate of Jeff Davis High School and a 1941 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Maiorana and her son, Charles Maiorana. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy Maiorana; Linda Woods and husband, Jim; Frank Maiorana and wife, Debbie; sister, Creola Braunagel; daughter-in-law, Linda Puhl; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family received visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, at Earthman Funeral Directors Hunters Creek Chapel, 8303 Katy Freeway. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood, with Reverend Monsignor Dan Scheel, celebrant. The Rite of Committal followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
