On July 16, 1930, Frances Ann was brought into the world and began her journey through life with the colorful Italian family of Katie and Nick Eppolito of Stafford, Texas. Much like her father Nick, Frances loved farm life and began to share that love with her life partner Ben Contello of Bryan, Texas on July 16, 1950. As the years passed by, Frances and Ben’s love for the Creator and his creation began to grow and the harvest of their appreciation was made evident as they dedicated their lives to their God Jehovah. On January 11, 1958, Frances was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained loyal to her God down to her death on March 5, 2012. Even though her health faded, her desire to be in the ministry never waned, she loved to study the Bible with others when she was able to do so. The path that Frances traveled down life’s roadway was not always easy or worry free. In 1956 she and Ben suffered the tragic loss of their second baby boy Nicholas in death which changed her outlook on life forever. Only the truth of God’s written word the Bible with its wonderful hope of a resurrection was able to sustain her. As a devoted daughter and sister, Frances lovingly watched over and helped care for her parents and sister Mary as they aged and preceded her in death. Frances spent her whole life on Staffordshire Road, 81 years on the same street. Frances is survived by her older sister Nancy Falco of Houston, Texas, her devoted husband Ben Contello of Stafford, Texas, as well as her four children Bernard Contello and wife Darleen, of the Heights, Texas, Michael A. Contello and wife Angela, of Victoria, Texas, daughter Kathleen Contello and son David Contello and wife Helene, both of Sugar Land Texas. Frances was blessed with four grandchildren, Bernard III, Niccoli, Nathan and Christopher, seven great grandchildren and countless spiritual brothers and sisters. In her early years, Frances was always on the go, she loved to cook and sew as well as arrange flowers for display. Frances always had an extra plate and seat at her table for any who stopped by for a visit, she was good about showing hospitality. Although this separation is only temporary, we will dearly miss her as we long to see her smiling face once again.
