Frances Elizabeth Tippit

Frances Elizabeth Tippit, 87, born March 10, 1925 to James and Linda Casey in Temple, Texas graduated from this life to the open arms of our loving savior, Jesus Christ, on January 3, 2013, in Shenandoah, Texas.

Devoted and much loved Mother and Grandmother, she is preceded in death, by her husband, Walter E. Tippit, Sr. and is survived by her children, Daughter, Elizabeth A. Sivley of Shenandoah, Texas, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Walter E. Tippit and Elizabeth Tippit of Waco, Texas, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Linda and Clayton Sellers of The Woodlands, Texas, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Peter and Kathy Tippit of Spring, Texas, and Son and Daughter-in-Law, Paul E. and Donna Sue Tippit Sr. of Houston, Texas, 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was a longtime devoted member of Community Christian Church in The Woodlands, Texas, and a member of American Legion Post 416 and the Order of the Eagles Post 63.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Heights Funeral Home, and also 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, prior to Funeral Services which begin 10:00 a.m in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Houston National Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Doug Colvin, Jeremy Strong, Joey Rogers, Steven Tippit, Paul Tippit Jr., Allen Sivley, and Rodney Sivley. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Jones, Tommy Sivley, and Jimmy Craighead.
