Francis Rodriguez Garcia

Born in Houston, Texas, on July 20th, 1945. She was a loving and compassionate woman, always putting her family first. She was known for her love of puzzles, gardening and her time spent with her family at the casino.

She is survived by her children, George and Debbie; Sylvia, Albert and Angie; Thomas, Jorge and Chastity; Gerard and Julie; Lupe and Eva; as well as 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Ramona Rodriguez; her loving husband, Guadalupe Garcia; and her loving son, Harry J. Poley. She is also survived by her 10 siblings and a large extended family.

A visitation for Francis will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A religious ceremony will occur Friday, May 30, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Friday, May 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
