As a veteran, he proudly served the US Army in the occupation force of Japan at the conclusion of WWII.
His entire professional career was spent in office administration of Lykes Bros. Steam Ship company.
A lifelong member of Holy Name Catholic Church. He served as an usher and volunteer on the Monetary Collection Ministry for 25 years.
Frank enjoyed traveling, sporting events and participating in the senior clubs, especially the retired Eagle Activities club of FOE Aerie No. 63.
He is survived by sister Mary Ann Weishaupt and many cousins and close extended family.
All services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral home on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Funeral services at 11 a.m. and concluding with the burial. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in Frank's memory to St. Thomas H.S. Attention Advancement office, 4500 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77007 or to a charity of your choice .
