Freda Jones, 77, was born on March 18, 1943 in Abbeyville, Louisiana to Clarence and Gladys Trahan and passed away on July 21, 2020 in Houston, Texas.

Freda is survived by her loving husband Wayne, they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on August 14th. Also surviving is her son, Kirk Jones and wife, Sylvia; grandchildren, Morgan Dutton and husband, Mark and Hunter Jones.

Friends and family will gather for services at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga Blvd., Houston, TX, Pastor Jerry McNamara, officiating.

Private interment services will be held in Houston National Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Air Force in honor of her military service.
