Fructuoso “JOKER” Guadalupe Cepeda, Jr., gained his heavenly wings on October 2, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Fructuoso Guadalupe Cepeda, Maria Guadalupe Rivera, his stepfather John Guajardo, and his sweet daughter Jennifer Cepeda.
He leaves behind his loving wife Laura Diaz-Cepeda. He is survived by his 3 children, Michael Cepeda, Felicia Maria Cepeda, and Justin Cepeda, including his stepchildren Desiree Herrera, Paulina Herrera, Vincent Herrera, Gabrielle Serna, and Andrew Serna. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Maria Aurora Cepeda, Arnold and wife Joann Cepeda, Isabel and husband Joe Carvajal, Juanita and husband Israel Garza, and brother Saul Guajardo, Hector Cepeda, Nancy Cepeda Valois, Diana Avila Cepeda and 22 grandchildren.
Joker was a beautiful person who brought joy to everyone in his life. He was loved by so many and truly a “JOKER.” He will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 4, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Rite of committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
