Genevieve Strouhal Kubala

Genevieve was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Kubala; parents, Fabian and Justina Strouhal; sisters, Lucille Smidt, Mary Lee Clarady and Jean Morton. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Reed and Delores Lehnert; her children, Kenneth Kubala and wife Linda, Christopher Kubala and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Christina Johnson and husband Gunnar, James Kubala, Danielle Kubala and Michael Kubala.

Family and friends gathered in the sanctuary of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail in Houston, where Reverend R. Troy Gately celebrated the Funeral Liturgy at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. The Rite of Committal followed at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Immediately following the interment, the family invited everyone to return to the church for a reception in the St. Jude Hall at St. John Vianney.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers were Michael Kubala, James Kubala, Adam Gaines, Gunnar Johnson, John Wick and Taylor Wick.
