George was born to Louis and Louise Kaleel, June 20, 1920, in Brenham, TX. He married Anne McClosky in 1942, and they lived together in Houston, TX and raised 2 children.
He is survived by: Son, Jack and wife, Carolyn Kaleel and his Daughter, Victoria Dean. He also leaves to cherish his memory 5 grandchildren: Angela Dean, Sheri Young, Chris Kaleel, Lisa Winfree and Paul Kaleel along with 5 Great- grandchildren, Matthew Young, Alyssa Winfree, Sean Young, Eric Young and Addison Winfree.
George was preceded in death by Anne Catherine Kaleel, (wife).
George worked in the produce business all his life. He enjoyed playing Gin with this brother and friends and loved to tell stories of his time in the Army and World War II. He was actively involved with the local Sr. Civic Center and recently filmed for a historical documentary.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
