George Santos

George "Sonny" Santos Sr., 85 of Kingwood, Texas passed away on Saturday morning, January 22, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on Sunday , August 23, 1936. He is the son of the late Felix H. Santos and Lula. He has a love of his savior, Jesus Christ and was a Knight of Columbus with St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.

He was involved in the startup of Interstate Battery. He worked for Owen Electric and later worked as a truck driver for many years with the handle, "Lone Wolf". He enjoyed dancing, traveling, and was a devoted fan of the Houston Oilers, staying with his team as the Tennessee Titans.

He was preceded in death by his late wife Joyce and is survived by his second wife Nanette. He is also survived by his son George Sonny Santos Jr., Daughter-in-law Leslie, brothers Paul and Ross, his many stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friend Bill Green, and loving dog Max II.

Sonny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Viewing will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Tx 77060, on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

The Funeral Service will be held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 20000 TX-494 Loop, New Caney, TX, 77357, on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00am.

Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery of New Caney, 22271 US-59 N, New Caney, TX 77357.
