George C. Weaver

George C. Weaver, 79, was born November 4, 1935 in Brownsville, Texas to George and Beatrice Weaver. George passed away peacefully February 25, 2015 at his home in Deer Park surrounded by his loving family. He met and married the love of his life, Virginia and enjoyed 55 wonderful years of marriage. He retired from Houston Lighting & Power in 1990. George was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church for many years where he was a scripture reader. He also served as a Eucharist minister at St. Alphonsus. He is survived by his wife; son, Michael Weaver and wife Irene; daughters, Patty Moreno and husband Gus, Ginger Lucio, Gigi Moreno, Debbie Bourgeois and husband Ken; grandchildren, Kristi, Courtney, Landon, Christopher, Kristen, Cynthia, Alexis, Megan, Matthew, Maddie, Allie, Jules; great grandchildren, Darci, Hailey, Chloe, Amia, Braxton, MJ; sister, Mary Frances Lloyd; brothers, Roy Weaver, Ray Weaver, Ronald Weaver, Henry Weaver, Albert Weaver, Rudy Weaver, Richard Weaver. George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Beatrice Weaver; sister, Gloria Salinas; brothers, Bob and Oscar Weaver. Visitation for George C. Weaver will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm. Funeral Services will be 10am, Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church 2921 Center Street, Deer Park, TX 77536 followed by interment at Forest Park Lawndale.
