Georgia was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Isidro R. Garcia. Also preceding Georgia in death are 4 of her children; Irene, Henry, Isidro, Jr., and George along with 3 of Georgia's brothers and 7 of her sisters.
Georgia is survived by 4 children; Raymond, Linda, Esther, and Tiffany. Also left to cherish her memory are 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Georgia will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A vigil will be held at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Angels located in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with the interment to follow at the graveside in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
